Audit reports of regional organizations, 1969-2000.

Annual or other periodic reports on the examination of the financial affairs of regional development commissions and regional service organizations by the state auditor. The reports contain comments and recommendations regarding fiscal procedures; summaries of financial conditions; balance sheets and supporting statements; classifications of receipts and disbursements; notes to financial statements; and names of officials and verifications of official bonds. As well as the state's several regional development commissions, there are audit reports for the Metropolitan Council, several other Twin Cities metropolitan organizations, the Western Lake Superior Sanitary District, and several out state corrections and human services consortia. Some reports for 1969-1972 were done by the State Auditor's predecessor, the Public Examiner.
